old wives tale or true fact?

So this past monday I was so tired of being pregnant & wanted to try soe ways to kick start labor (in my head thinking like any of these google searches are really going to work lol). So for fun my hysband & I started trying different things, walking, spicey food, rasberry leaf tea. Waitied a couple hours nothing happend. My husband found this salad called "the maternity sald", which costs about $30 in a local resturant, lol I was not about to spend $30 on a freakin salad but the ingredients were posted so we just went out & bought them (courtesy of fresh & easy). So around 8p.m. I ate it & started pressure points on my hands, went to bed & thought nothing of it. 2am woke up with contractions & welcomed our baby boy @ 9:09am :). So wheather it was just time or the salad & pressure points lol I guess in the end it didnt hurt to try "labor kick starters".

I think the main ingredient that helps with the labor is the balsomic vinegertett w/extra virgin olive oil dressing but the salad also contains romaine lettuce, red cabbage, baby spinach, gorgonzola cheese, chopped walnuts & baby tomatoes.

They have videos on youtube on how to & where to find your pressure points for labor, I used the pressure points on muy hands between the thumb & pointer finger
