orgasms: painful not pleasure...

I'm 18 weeks. Have only had sex twice.. yes, 2x since Oct of last yr bc I'm that sensitive down there. Fortunately I got to orgasm when my hubby n I got jiggy last night.
Unfortunately, I'm sore and a little crampy. I can't believe orgasms are now painful. Is this ok or normal?

I had heaps of pain after sex, I think it triggers braxton hicks contractions. Its great at the time but after I pay for it! My doc says its OK  and I take paracetamol, and heat pack! Lol I'm just enjoying the last few months with my hubby before I won't want to do it!

I'm 9 wks and can't even stand to look at male parts let alone think about having sex! The big 'O' I did have when my eldest child was about 5 months in utero, my uterus contracted so hard and it was so gross to me that I could feel everything in my uterus I swore off sex during pregnancy from then on and that was my first child. I'm on my third now. I'm just turned off by it now.

I've not had pain so much as discomfort. My lady parts look and feel puffy and inside feels like everything's being pushed out (39wks) yet I'm still horny!? Finally (after almost 2 months of no sex) convinced the other half that it was worth the discomfort and that he wouldn't be responsible for my death if we were to try and it was amazing!!!

My doc said to just refrain from having sex. Which is fine. No bleeding or extreme pain & that's good sign. Soreness is going away. Thanks ladies.  Thought I was alone there for a minute...

When you organism, your uterus will contract. Sometimes is will cause soreness. Just try to rest. As long as there's no bleeding, you should be fine. If you're really worried, I would call your Dr.

Not intending to answer a question that you should ask your doctor, but just to let you know I have not had a single sexual intercourse during my pregnancy so far (20wks) because I've always been put on pelvic rest. So you are not alone. At least you are not bleeding or carry any high risk diagnoses.
