I have been battling a cold for 2 weeks. i just found out in 6 weeks pregnant. i took Nyquil, extra streng Tylenol, ibuprofen and advil p.m. im concern about the side effects. i haven't gone to my first appt yet so i haven't had the chance to ask the dr. any one in the same boat?

Yea, you should be fine especially this early on but I would not continue to do it as the months progress especially over 3months. But as adgal stated many have taken things and did not even know they were prego!!! My sis didn't know she was pregnant for the first 3 months and was drinking wine regularly but my nephew is a strong, healthy, 3yr old now. But as she said just be sure to mention it to your OG as a precaution and yes Tylenol is fine!!! Congrats and good luck to you and yours.

I honestly wouldn't worry too too much about it. So many of us have taken so many otc meds, drank alcohol, eaten things we should prior to finding out we were pregnant.  Absolutely mention it to your Dr., but I suspect he or she will tell you not to worry about it.  Also, most Dr.'s will tell you that tylenol is fine during pregnancy.
