I also brought some movies. The first time I was in labor for over 24 hours and they brought in a dvd player so I could watch them. I was doing natural birth so I was keeping myself busy granted it was ten years ago.  Lol now with #2 im bringing my laptop and phone and chargers. Dont forget your razor. Also pads hospital pads a very uncomfy I couldnt sleep in them at all and extra panties u would just throw away.

Well...camera, batteries, charger for phone and camera battery, I personally bought a couple of "granny" night gowns that will cover me when visitors come but also have buttons in the front for breastfeeding,  you will need your usual toiletries,  like brush, tooth brush, toothpaste, mouth wash, body wash/soap. I bought some travel size items of these. And I believe hospitals will also provide some, but I prefer to take what I like.

An extra bag in case people brings stuff for baby while in the hospital. Dad needs his normal daily items too, extra clothes, underware,  socks.

Oh change for vending machines.

I packed underwear,  CHAPSTICK!, ipod (which was really nice during labor and to block out hospital noises at night), nightgowns (cause no one wants there butt hanging out), socks, travel size shower stuff, TOOTHBRUSH!! And tooth paste (I forget mine and the hospital had some but they aren't good)and a change of clothes for when you leave.  I brought make up but never used it honestly... for my husband I packed underwear, sweatpants, slippers (he'll be walking more than you), toothbrush/paste and 2 change of clothes. Good luck!
P.s don't pack a Ton for the baby they give you everything you'll need just bring a few special outfits and a going home outfit.  They give you paci's, receiving blankets,  diapers, wipes, hats (speeding on seasonal weather), they give you a ton can't remember everything but take it all cause your insurance is paying for it.
