I am 11 days late with my period. I am 35 years old and have always been on time 28-33 days except for when I was pregnant with my 2 children. My tubes were tied durning my c-section 5 1/2 years ago. 2 weeks ago, late in the evening, I felt a sudden pressure in my vagina, almost as if something was hanging low inside right by the opening-The pressure was inside and increased more when I went pee. It didnt hurt, no freguent urination, no burning...the next morning it was still there and now I had lower right-sided back pain. I thought it may be a UTI, so I went to the drugstore bought a AZO test, it came back positive. so I started drinking lots of cranberry juice, was taking Tylenol for my back pain and my sister-in-law gave me 6 days worth of an antibiotic Cephalexin 500mg(my husband has a new job and insurance is not in effect til 9/1/08 ) sooo, with no funds/no insurance-I took the antibiotic, it seemed to help-all I had was the mild back pain. after the meds were gone, I started getting ocassional diahreha. The cramps started in my stomach and back now for the last 3 days- I took 2 pregnancy tests Friday and Sunday of last week- both negative. I have no fever, no other symtomns, just cramps in back and stomach, feels like period cramps, nothing can't handle. I am not stressed and have not been- I don't have any other known medical issues- My Dr. appt is on 9/5 and I was wondering if anyone can give me some ideas on what they think before I go, It's bothering me!!! Thanks!!!

I have to agree...if you can get into see a Dr. earlier, you probably should.  Sorry, wish I could be more help.  Good luck to you.

It doesn't sound like you're pregnant.  Perhaps you need a different antibiotic to treat your possible infection.  The only way to be sure is to consult a doctor.  I don't think you should wait until the 5th of Sept to see one if you're feeling bad.  Good luck to you!
