Hi I'm 19 and 19+2weeks I found out my son haves echogenic bowels . My doctor said nothing to worried about but he is sending me to another doctor to do Level 2 scan  

Wondering if anyone else here Been told this ?

They told my sister her daughter was most likely going to have down syndrome and she came out prefectly healthy with no problems

Yeah they said its a thick linein Idk to much my doctor sending me to another doctor to do a 3d ultrsound and he did say sometimes mean down syrome but he said I had bloodwork for that and it was clear so no need to worry .

Is it an echogenic spot in the bowels? I was told my son had an echogenic spot in his heart scared me half to death. What they are are soft markers for downs. However my son doesn't have any other signs for downs and my blood screening came back negative. It scares you but ultimately I would love my son regardless. I would try not to worry too much.
