positive pregnancy test then period began but next cycle pregnant
March 6 2011 my period was late so I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. A couple of days later what I thought was my period started but it was light. I did not think much about it and went on to next month. I did not take any additional pregnancy tests.
Well April 8 2011 my period appeared to be late again. I have taken 3 tests and all were positive and my period has not started again so at this point know that I am pregnant.
Is it possible I have been pregnant since March? I am 41 and this is my 4th pregnancy. I have 2 children and miscarried 1 in between the 2 kids I have.

I agree with Christine. I spotted and bled throughout my pregnancy. Many women do and it can be mistaken for a period. I am not so convinced it was a chemical pregnancy (a very early miscarriage) as typically it is much heavier and often longer then a regular period. However, anything is certainly possible. As she said, an ultrasound will tell you for certain. Either way, congrats on your pregnancy and wishing you a healthy and happy 9 months!

You should see your OB. He or she can perform an ultrasound and determine how far along you are :)
