I have RLS and have had it for years, there is no RX meds that are safe to take during pregnancy, but you can be checked to make sure you have enough iron and folate. You may want to try magnesium, walking around, maybe getting an exercise bike and riding it for a little while before bed, a massager run over your legs before bed. I was told to stop taking any medication (which I took Requip) as soon as I got my tubal reversal because of the risks on the developing fetus. I didn't want to take any chances, so then I had to find other alternatives. Those are just some of the things I have tried and many have worked. Good Luck, some nights it gets so bad that NOTHING works!!

HA HA HA, My DH and I joke about it all the time. I'm just all around restless at night. I tell him I have RLS and we laugh. Then he says he has it too.
I have severe RLS and have since I was in my 20's. I didn't even know there was a name for it until around 1998. My father had it and told me his grandfather called it "the strikes" (funny name). I read it is hereditary. It has gotten much worse inthe last couple of weeks and there are a few things that can help relieve it temporarily. When mine start I just follow the urge to move...stretch, walk, clean house, and it usually lessens.The key is to get your mind off of it with action. Being idle is when it starts (sitting at my computer at work, driving a car, watching a movie in the evening) Warm baths help some, putting lotion on, dh rubbing them sometimes helps. In the bed when they act up I move my feet back and forth and try to meditate and keep my mind off of it, usually I will fall asleep, unless they are really bad, then I just get up and move around until I can fall asleep ( have to go to the couch while trying this). Also, I have a lavender body spray that I use if I know they are really bad, and I wash my bedsheets in the lavender scented laundry detergent. I have experimented with just about everything and lavender does help me. I hope you get some relief, I know how miserable it is.
I get it even when I am not pg... I usually take advil but since pg I take tylenol like3 to 4 times a week also a bath helps... tennessee.. careful not too hot.. you don´t want a raise your body temp as that can harm your baby.-... good luck it sucks!!
yea... its crazy... glad im not alone! I Just get it once in a while too.I just did some stretching and a hot bath... hopefully it wont come back.

I think it happened to me to..twice actually. I didn't know there was a condition for what I felt but I've just read about it and that's exactly what it is: Restless legs syndrome is a condition that produces an intense, often irresistible urge to move your legs because of unpleasant sensations..OMG isn't it just umbearable!!!! You just always need to stretch 'em and it drives you CRAZY!! LOL Didn't know it could be pregnancy related though..but I read it is..don't know what to do about it though.. Just wanted to tell you you're not alone. :)
