Anyone been pregnant with fibroids multiple pregnancies?

This is my 2nd and I am 37. I am 9 1/2 weeks and get my first ultrasound with radiology  to measure the fibroid and figure out its location to the placenta next week. Last pregnancy it got to be the size of a softball.  It caused me to spend 34 hours in labor than 7 hours of pushing to end up with a c section.  I have some old blood every few days and I am concerned. I had a threatened miscarriage with the past one but no other spotting. So I am not sure if I should be concerned or not.

Try again with this doc. Explain how they effect your quality of life. If he is still unwilling,  after baby start looking into new Gynos. I believe a doctor should be our partners,  not our dictators.

My first doc told me that he would do anything about my fibroids til menopause or i was done having kids. Then he retired before i got pregnant with my 2nd. I want this to be my last. Im 34. My periods are ridiculously painful and heavy for 10-14 days making me anemic. When i suggested it to my new doc, he looked at me like i was crazy. Sooo idk what to do.

We are going to wait because she won't do it with my c section- too much blood loss. So I will have to wait til my uterus and fibroids shrink down. My largest is the size of a grapefruit. The other 2 got to golf balls last pregnancy.  My biggest is in the lining of the uterus and since I am 37 and it's so painful, this will be our last kid. My OB did suggest removing my uterus but told me she would wait til we were done having kids, however many we were going to have. I told hubby that this is it. I can't do this pain again. I have cone to terms with it before even getting pregnant.

Flickan... u are gonna have your uterus removed because of your fibroids? Was that your choice or was it suggested to you by your doc? Are they gonna remove it right after delivery or do u have to wait? Sorry so many questions, i am genuinely curious. I just recently changed doc's, and my current doc says that even tho my fibroids and medium-sized (like a baseball, and i have 3) that i pretty much gotta live with them.

I have fibroids, this is my second pregnancy, am in week 27 n 36 yrs. During my first pregnancy I suffered severe pain in my lower belly region around week 22 becos the fibroids were growing in size. But there was no bleeding only pain that kept me up n crying all night. Anyway my fibroids were a lot n blocked the service that my gyno's decision was to carry out a vertical cs for my safety n that of my baby. Developed serious bleeding in wk 36+5 n had cs immediately. Me n my baby where just fine although we stayed in the hospital for 10 days.
Anyway just have a regular check up n airways contract the hospital if anything.
