If you deliver a baby when you have step B and are NOT treated there is a very "small" chance that your baby (babies) could get the infection.  If you are treated, the chances are partially zero that baby will be infected

Thank you all for the reassurance i just read some nasty things and i automatic  assumed its a really bad thing. I suffered really bad health anxiety last year and then i got pregnant which couldnt have come at a better time as it helped my mind shift to more positive outlook however its been one thing after the other with the twins  and im constantly  worried i know my mind has alot to do with it but hopefully i can get some help.

I have 6 kids, and due with lucky nmbr 7 on July 10th. All born with me having been positive for strep b. Born perfectly healthy with no health problems. I was given an IV for antibiotics and all my babies r fine. Don't stress,  stressing will cause more damage then your, very treatable, strep b.

Google is your worst enemy hun. I'm high risk, always have been on every pregnancy and I learnt my lesson the hard way with Google. Ring and speak with your doctor about the strep b. Find out what they're plans are for you. I've tested positive twice before for it and each time I went into labour I didn't wait to go to the hospital, so as I had maximum chance of getting the anti biotics into me. My labours were well over the 4hr mark which was good in that aspect. Best of luck with your twins
