Nope I don't think it works for labor it's all a crock it will happen when it happens!  I finally gave in and had sex last night and at 39 wks 4cm dilated and 75% effaced I'm still pregnant it's all just myths!  I've gone down the whole list on what to do to enduce labor naturally and nothing works!

If my remark has come across as snooty, then I humbly apologize, however, there has been some confusion as to wheather this forum is for people over 35 years old, or for people over 35 weeks pregnant. This may seem like a petty thing to fuss about, but it gets frustrating scrolling through tons of posts from 20 yr olds who want to vent about labor problems, or who are coming to this site looking for older mentors. This is a forum for pregnant women over 35 years old, as a peer support network,  not a mentoring site for 20 somethings to seek advice from older moms. They should go to the "pregnancy social" forum for that, but the last thing I want to do is hurt someone's feelings or come across as mean and snooty, and for that I apologize.

Tmmb, no need to be snooty..

Shan, as long as u and ur significant other aren't complaining about the lack of sex in ur relationship, then the lack of it is not good or bad, it's just sometimes sex dies down when ur pregnant, no worries..

What exactly is your question? Is what good or bad? This is a forum for pregnant women over 35 years old, btw.
