that's what my 20 gague is a browning bsp special....I love it.... and my 12 is a wing master......I am the secretary and treasurer of the Butler County Coon Club and my DH is the president he only does it cause I'm such a Coon hunting aholic....I didin't think I'd be the killing type but long as we use the meat I don't feel bad.  And I love rabbit hunting we have a tri colored beagle and a Blue tick her pic is in my profile too.....my coonhounds are also show dogs....my female is a grand show champion and my male is a champion show male I'll have to get pics up......I love my dogs to death.....And the camping deal I'm sure we'll still do we have a camper so it's kinda like cheating and calling it camping.....and the tractor is gonna be a problem if it ever quits raining we have hay , corn and beans to plant so guess DH will have to hire someone during planting and harvest season......

Hey, I have 2 black and tan coonhounds and a bluetick beagle!!! (There's a pic of her in my photos) I tryed hunting when Dh and I first got together but I'm just not a killer, I'd feel awful every time. So, I'll just leave that part to him. I like to go along coon and rabbit hunting just to see my dogs in action, I'm so proud of them! I also have a beautiful fancy in graved Browning 20gauge shot gun to pass down to my children if they decide to hunt. about turkey hunting I never went. My DH drives me CRAZY with the dang calls though!

We all love fishing! We have a lake boat and a river boat (jet motor) my 4yrDD has been talking about fishing and camping at the river for a month now. I'll go for the day but I don't think I'll be sleeping on the ground in a tent this year!! (at least I hope not).....No tractor??? What's up with that?? Some of us girl have corn to plant.

LOL......I too love the deer in my field we have 20 acres of just field and 5 acres of woods and our neighbor has 10 acres of wood right next door so we have alot of wild life but I'd never kill our pets around the house we go out in BFE to hunt......

Oh called my Dr office and they said as long as the gun doesn't have a hard kick it should be ok but no 4 wheeling and no more riding with DH in the big trucks or on the tractor.....

I only have a 20 gauge, but I do have a fishing pole and gear for every type of fish (salmon, steelhead, trout, stripers).

I'm not a big catch and release kind of gal.  If I hook it, I eat it.

My DH has a gun collection, too.

Funny that some of you guys are also into the great outdoors stuff!

Brown Eyed - Have you ever shot a deer?  I've only shot at ducks (and missed I must add).

I like to shoot skeet but never actually gone to a range we just go in the back yard.....I'm pretty good at it......I only have a 20 gauge 12 gauge .22 and 30-06  Dh has every gun imaginable....it's harder for me to get guns cause I can't get an automatic I have to get lefty guns or they shoot the shells in my face.....OUCH!  DH loves his .357 mag

I was wondering the same thing.  My dh and I love to go shooting but I haven't since I became pregnant.  I've avoided it because of the gun powder, lead, and noise.  I can't wait to get back to the range though.  I would avoid it but you can always check with your doctor.  I could see me now, 37 weeks, shooting a .357.  That would make the news!!  hehe

Ha.  I'm glad you asked this.

I was going to go duck hunting with DH and opted not to at the last minute.  I was worried about getting stuck in the middle of nowhere and how loud it could be.

I also canceled our steelhead and salmon fishing trips.  I waited too long for anything to go wrong this time!

yea... brown eyes..
lol lol... you are so funny...got a giggle out of me.. thanks
personally... I dont think I would do it. the backfire is pretty tence. hell.. the last time I shot a gun it threw me on my butt.  15 years ago..learned really quick I have to relax.. ha ha.. but when I did get use to it. It still has a quick jerk to your body. You wouldnt want anything to get loose down there. oh just the thought.... I can fill the ligaments pulling... yea.. please dont do it...
Make it a "save a turkey day"  instead.
remember.... you have two others to worry about. we cant do the things we want. lol atleast for 9 months... heee heeee

You will probably want to check with your doctor. The kickback from the gun, along with the loud noise might not be recommended, especially since you have two little ones in there to care for. You may want to choose to skip hunting season this year.
