Well, I feel so responsibile for not sitting my a** down when I was told to, but I'm not taking anymore chances!  I'm 25wks and found out not to long ago that I'm already 25% effaced and my cervix has shorten to 2.2 from 3.8!  They want to hospitalize me but I PROMISED I would make the bed my home and not move.  I didnt even call to tell my husband b/c Im still upset with him.  My mom told me to just get some clothes for me and the kids and come on over to stay with her until my DH comes home on the weekend.  I know I should call and tell him, but the little evil heffa in me will use this as an "I told you so" rather than a call to update him on his son.  So I'll wait until the other half of my "adult" brain catches up then I'll do the responsibile thing.  I go back next week to be checked again and make sure I havent dialated.  I was put on Terbutaline to stop the contractions so lets pray I go past 30wks with this pregnancy.  I dont want to even see the inside of the NICU!  I love you girls!

I was taking terbutaline also...Saraya stayed put almost 6 more weeks.....delivered 4 days after stopping terb...35w6days

I did nothing for first 3 weeks....the cervix will lengthen with  REST...

i was 50% (1.1 cm) effaced with no dilation at 29wk.  i was put on strict bed rest. two wks later, i was 90% effaced and dilated a finger tip.  i stayed on bed rest untill 35wks. i cheated a little in the 34th week. my water broke at 36wk5d and Jacob was born the next day.

so do as the dr says and go lay down!!!!!!

Hey, I just saw your post about how far you are. That is so crazy I am the one due June 16th and I am having a boy named Cooper!!!  I too only gained 7 pounds!!!! WOW!!!!

U take care of yourself and that little one ( i know you will though). I also think you should call your husband and tell him... I think you should both sit down and  have a good talk, maybe he could find another trucking job that would get him home everyday. I wish you all the best.. God bless

Not yet!  They told me to just watch like a hawk for preterm labor so I can get the steriods on time if need be,  but they didnt want to give me the shot prematurely if I hadnt dialated yet.  This little boy aint going no where, I wont let him.  I've worked too hard (so far) to keep him in there.  I'm just going to stay prayed up and know that we're in God's hands and will be there at least until I hit 36wks.!!!
