wine w/dinner?

So I'm 34wks ,today is my 10yr wedding anniversary  do you think it's ok to have a glass or two of wine with dinner? I haven't had a drop of alcohol this whole pregnancy..

I personally wouldn't chance it. I've always been told by my doctors that no amount is safe. Lots of people will say they had a drink or two and their child is fine but to me that's like saying I jump out a 3rd story window and I'm fine. Some people get lucky. Some don't. Also the negative effects don't have to be extreme. They could be something like having a slightly lower IQ causing the child to struggle in school.

I would discuss this with your OB.  No one knows for sure how much alcohol is safe in pregnancy - that is why is it advised not to have any. But many OB's say that one glass here and there is okay - again, this decision is up to you.  I would not advise more than one though.  Happy anniversary.
