Hi, I had this condition with my first pregnancy, I wore a belt, but rest was only thing that helped a little. I was told it gets worse with next pregnancy but I didn't suffer at all.
Yes. I have SPD. I was diagnosed at 27 weeks but it started around 20 weeks. They referred me to physical therapy to get a maternity belt... military wife- that's how they do things. I go next week. I had another appointment today and the doctor I saw told me it wasn't in my chart and that it was a "normal discomfort of pregnancy". Needless to say I requested to never have her again and was quite upset to be dismissed. I mean it is not normal if the pelvic pain is excruciating... I have already printed out medical documents explaining spd is not normal pain and can cause issues if not recognized in delivery... I hope they listen next time. good luck and I hope your doctors listen to you.
I'm sorry, I also don't know anything about SPD, but it is good to see you back!! Only 9 weeks until you meet your little girl! I hope the discomfort goes away and you can enjoy the remainder of your pregnacy. All the best to you.
Im new so I dont remember you but wanted to wish you the best luck for the rest of your pregnancy and your delivery. Ive had friends who complained of pelvic pain an slipage but I don't think any had a diagnosis like yours. Not much longer!
Hi, I am not familiar with SPD, but it sounds very uncomfortable. I just wanted to wish you well on the remainder of your pregnancy, and hoping for an uneventful smooth delivery! Best wishes to you!
