start of labor?

hi Ladies,
I have been on here just a few times, but love reading all of your posts. I'm 38weeks and 5 days and this morning I am losing my mucus plug. I thought maybe I was losing water too, but just a little bit, so I think it's just pee. Plus I have had like 5 BMs too. I called the doc and they said that it's probably early labor. They said to call again if my water breaks or if I have contractions closer together. I also have cramping here and there but nothing consistent. I have heard that with the mucus plug that it could happen sooner or later, like even by a week. I have an appointment on Tuesday but hope to not go past tomorrow! Any thoughts?

hi your waters may have gone already thats how i was with my little boy i thought it was just pee but then found out 2 hours later that it was actually my waters that had gone good luck hun x

Jenn, sounds like bubs is on his/her way.. i think your baby will be here before the weekend is over..
My first labour went alot like you are saying... (with the BM etc)

no thoughts but congrats ;-)    My daughter same as you, has apt today we were so excited about, and just got a call from office saing dr went home sick :(     .  We were pretty sure to get confirmed that she's really close, so i kinda know how you must feel having to wait the weekend for your next check... She may have to as well if they cant squeese her in with someone else.. (we LOVE her dr though so it's a tough call) Excited for you though... Love to hear your outcome....  thisbabygrama
