I am so sorry to hear your bad news :(
I wish you all the best on your journey to having a baby. I pray that you will be pregnant soon!
You ladies are so sweet, I appreciate your words and thoughts. Guess I will join the ttc forum.
Eat lots of yams. My family swears by them to help you conceive. They are also believed to help conceive twins. Good luck.
Stacey is right. These home pregnancy tests now are incredibly sensitive, and sometimes an ovarian cyst can raise those hcg levels just enough to show a positive. I'm a bit upset with your Dr. He could have ordered a blood test that would have saved you having to go through the emotional trauma you have been through. Please take good care of you. You've been through a lot and I have no doubt you feel like you have just ridden an emotional roller coaster. Thinking of you.
I am so sorry. Plese dont give up, God will find a way for you to have your baby when it is rite for you.
Sorry that ur going thru this....just continue 2 stay strong and don't give up on ttc. Wishing u all the best!
I think you are right. At least you are more informative than they are. Well I guess I'm now back in the ttc gang. I had given up trying.
Overian cysts have been known to give a pos on a pregnancy test and also pregnancy symptoms as well, usually after an egg is released a little cyst form from where the egg burst out, it usually stays little and secrets progesterone keeping your period away until the egg has time to implant, if that doesnt happen then the cyst usually disintergrates and your period follows shortly afterwards, with a cyst that you have had, it doesnt disintergrate and can keep growning, causing delayed periods and pregnancy symptoms etc, sometimes they resolve themselves, which I think yours is doing, other times they need to be surgically taken care of
I'm so sorry hon :-( you had a positive test though didn't you?
I am in so much pain. Physically and emotionally. I'm not sure what the hell happened but I was rushed in and out. A pelvic exam, ultrasound and urine test and they tell me its an ovarian cyst. Didn't say where, size, will it do damage, is it causing the bleeding? Nothing. Took a urine test after drinking water all night because I thought I had subchorioc hematoma but I guess not. I'm so lost.
Ovarian cysts. No baby. I don't know what to say.
Did the er docs say that is what it could be? Any update on how you are doing?
Thats what they called my late implantation bleeding, a hematoma. Where the baby burrowed into the uterine wall, a clot (or bleed) built up behind it, and my bleeding was caused from it bleeding out. But, my bleed was only light and pinkish, never heavy or bright red, and lasted one full day at 7 weeks. It came out as a brown discharge as well at 5 weeks. It was only small though, when i had an ultrasound done at the hospital they said it was only 1.1cm. After that it was all healed up by 8 weeks, and i've had no trouble with it since. But i suppose if it was alot bigger it could cause heavier bleeding. How long have you been bleeding for now? You should go and get a blood test done and see if you still have any hcg reading in your blood. Thats the only way to know for sure this early, as an ultrasound probably wouldn't show anything. Keep us updated on how you go, and all the best.
