suppositories?!?!

Have any of u had to use glycerin suppositories for constipation? If so how horrible is it? Sorry I know this is an embarrasing question and gross I'm 23 weeks and my doc recommended that I try them I've heard they are painful and wanted your input

I've never tried them, but I found all bran buds and lots of water have helped me immensely.  I add about 1/4 to 1/3 cup to my regular cereal every morning.  I use almond milk too as I have issues with cows milk.  just in case that's a factor in its effectiveness.  I hope that helps you too.

Not really painful just uncomfortable... Though fleets work good too, but its worth a try cause constipation is even more  uncomfortable

I have used them I didn't find them painful.  They worked out for me.  Good luck :)

I did...along with several others things. not painful. unfortunately, they did nothing for me even with everything else I was taking
