Totally with you!!! I am 8 weeks along with a 3, 5 and 7 year old. All I want to do is sleep. I'm a teacher so I have the summer off with my kiddos! I want to stay active for them but an afternoon nap is CRUCIAL for me to make it through the rest of the day!

I'm 38 and just 5 weeks, but don't have other children yet, so I have no basis for comparison and have less pressure than you in that regard, but I just can't believe how utterly exhausted I feel. I sleep for hours every afternoon. I'm fortunate it's summer so I don't have to be in a classroom. I hope I have more energy the second trimester. I can't imagine going through this at my age and caring for another child as well!

I'm 37 years old and have a 9 month old. I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant. I also have body aches. I normally take Acephetamin for pain. Make sure you eat healthy, drink lots of fluids, and take iron and prenatal pills. It would also help if your toddler was on a routine. Try to get much rest as you can while toddler is sleeping and also ask family to help out. I wish you all the best on your pregnancy journey!

I hear you. 37. I have a 2 year old and 26 weeks along.  Hard. This pregnancy is harder than the last.  Barely have enough energy to care for a toddler much less grow a new baby.  But it can be done.  Caring for a toddler who has set daily routine made this pregnancy just fly by.  I'm can't believe I'm already heading into 3rd trimester.

Take it one day at a time. Rest when your toddler let's you. Eat well.  Drink lots of water. Take vitamins.  Ask for help when you need it.

Congrats and good luck!
