1st Appt

Wow, my Dr wants me in earlier this time. 1st appt on 7/19. I'll only be 5w2d. I'm sure she won't do an u/s that early, would she?

I also had my first u/s at about 6 weeks.  I was scared - no make that terrified! -  but it was such a huge relief to see everything - HB and all.  Then I had a second a 8 weeks - also good.  I guess I was just happy to know SOMETHING whether it was good or bad so I could stop wondering and worrying about it.  (I had two previous m/c so I was very worried about this one)  At 5 weeks they should see the gestational sac but you may or may not see anything else.  That's still so early!  If you don't see anything try not to worry but if you do it will be a huge gigantic relief.  Best of luck!!

I wanted to avoid the early appt. Last time my 1st was 8wks and it was incredible. I'm worried about too early and not seeing hb and having to wait a month to see again.

I've had 3 mc's and on my second one, they had me in that early.  They were able to see something as my HCG was over 2000 and I think that's the amount that they have to be at in order to see something.  It's either 1500 or 2000?
