urinating after mc

Please help, I lost my baby about a week ago at 18 weeks and now I have problems urinating. I just can't stop going to the bathroom and can't hold it long enough without thinking I'll have an accident. It's bad enough that I am still dealing with the death of my son but now I am worried something is wrong with my body. I know my body is again going through changes but, is this normal? Thanks

After my last child, which I lost, and my previous pregnancy, I had the same problem.  Unfortunately bladder control is a problem for a lot of women who have had children and it took months for me to get back to normal, I was quite a mess!  But, unless you do have an infection, which could be the reason, it will get back to normal and there are exercises you can do to tighten things up.  I know you don't need this with what you have been through but it will get better, so try not to worry and if ever you are feeling low and need to chat just send me a note!!

I am no Dr., but it sounds like you may possibly have a bladder infection.  I would make a Dr.s appointment tomorrow if possible.  It sounds like it needs to be checked out regardless.

I am so very sorry for your loss.  Take care, and I will keep you in my thoughts.
