Thanks ladies for your input... had 2 csections... last one almost 10 yrs. ago... i may possibly be pregnant n would like to attempt it this time if i am pregnant.... makes me hopeful to know that some women did have successful vbacs...
Thanks, will give it a try
i did. i had a c section 6 years ago after to v births then had a vbac for number 4. no regrets! much prefer v births, hardly any recovery time. goodluck
You made me laugh so much, thanks. My doc said we will do trial vbac so am happy. As long as baby faces down and no complications prior labour will definately do it. Thanks for telling me about the scapel loving doctor.
How can you say 'old age ' and what wld that make me:-). Of course it can happen. My experience with c section was not that good so vbac, but will do it in a more equipped hospital. Just don't stress about #2, it will happen. Hugs
If I'm lucky enough to get pregnant with #2 (just started trying) at the ripe old age of 37, I'm definitely going for a vbac. My first was a c-section because my water broke a month early and my little guy was breach. Doctor said I'm a perfect candidate for vbac if I choose that route.
I did it successfully, I would check the C section rate on the Dr, I knew of Dr that would find a reason to cut everyone, i had 4 vaginal births before I met him, I was refered by a friend he took one look at my small frame and said you pelvis seems too small to deliver a baby, uhhhhh yeah discontinued services.
Thanks ladies coz I was worried that am the only one giving it a shot given that am not so young. I moved by delivery to a bigger hospital with 24 hr anesthestist so that if it does not work out I can always have a c section.
yes, i had one 10 years ago, and am trying for vaginal again this time round too. They keep asking me what do i want and i always say vaginal birth unless for medical interventions i need a c section. I hate recovery after a caesar.
I am going for a VBA2C. I found a doctor willing to let me try it my way. I'm so excited!
