week 4/5 symptoms

My wife is at 4 - 5 weeks after IVF  with symptoms of breast tenderness, tirdness and bloating.  Overnight her tenderness and bloating were significantly reduced.   We are very worried that she has lost the baby.   Has anyone else experienced this loss of symptoms?

I started getting symptoms around 6 weeks,  after that they came and went as they pleased. I was worried some days that I was going to miscarry, but the symptoms sometimes came back a couple days later and sometimes disappeared all together. Your body will adjust to the hormones sometimes and cause symptoms to fade. Try not to worry, because it is not a sign of miscarriage for symptoms to dissipate. I am 32+4 and having a healthy pregnancy. Congrats!

Thanks everyone.  Her symptoms have mostly returned to their previous levels and  We are feeling much better than before.  As its our 3rd time trying ivf I guess we are both very sensitive to even minor changes.  Hcg levels seem good so fingers crossed it was just us being nervous.

Congrats on your pregnancy!!! :)  Symptoms come and go.  Get stronger and then lessen.  Try not to worry to much.

I had days I didn't feel pregnant, at all. Then there were horrible days of nausea and fatigue and I thought my breasts would explode. Then, nothing. But, here I am at 39 weeks! If you are concerned, you should call your OB and see if they will do some HCG level tests on her. Chances are, it's OK. But, if it's not such good news, know that it was nothing she, you or the doctor did.
