sharing a room

My 7 year old boy and soon to be newborn girl will have to share a room for a little while. I researched it so much and can't find a law that states they can't share. My uncle is adamant that it's against the law. Who would I ask what the law is? I live in Massachusetts

It shouldn't be a problem until your son starts going through puberty (around 10 or 11). Then he'll start to need some privacy. The first couple years should be fine, though

Exactly! It's not like it's for long anyways. We're talking 1 maybe 2 years. And they won't be sharing a room when he's 18 and her 11! Gotta do what you gotta do I guess. Thanks ladies!!

I forget who even told me that. Like I said never looked into it b/c how would anyone know. When my parents got divorced we lived in a one bedroom apartment with one bed (mom sister and I) for like 4+ yrs. Granted all girls but what are you to do?

I say the same thing. There's no reason they can't share for like a year. I only have a 2 bedroom house. Will need to move or add on to have another toom

I have never heard of it being against the law. I think they will be just fine until they get older. Not everyone can afford a bigger place. Don't listen to that. Stupidest thing I've heard in a long time.
