I'm 39 tens wks pregnant with Number six! Not one of my labor and deliveries were the same!  Ive gone from second baby 31/2 hrs of labor  and had all kinds ain meds fekt loopy fir few days. until my one yr old five days of labor no joke got to hospital 1 1/2 hours before I had her no meds at all felt better after I survived was fine wasn't as bad as id thought.but I also put my self in this zone thru contractions biggest thing which can be tough try to relax as much as u can ive learned hard wsy..more u tense worse it was the pain. I went five days NOO meds in labor delivery NOTHING . I made myself stay calmer. My midwife was yelling at me to push lol. I had pushing contractions off the chart snd was holding back hope this ones as easy. Bcuz I knew the delivery is painful the baby coming out but once their crowning usually pretty fast. Youll be fine  try yo relax breath go into a zone during contractions. Best of luck on happy healthy baby gine delivery :) why women have babies men can'thandle it

Trust your own body! It is stronger than You know. Dont listen to all the horror stories either. I gave birth naturally and while it hurt like a b***h it wasn't as bad as everyone had told me it would be.  I was 4 cms when I went to the hospital as the nurses at the pre admittance appointment told me if I could talk through the contractions then they werent strong enough to go to the hospital. They were wrong. Good luck and try to remember all the details.  They are easily forgotten

Raquel, don't be scared.. women r designed to have babies.  When labor starts, the labor pains will start off feeling a lot like menstrual cramps.  They'll get longer and stronger in intensity.  When u go to the hospital ask for the epidural, and ask the anesthesiologist to tweak ur epidural drip just a lil so u don't feel pressure.   That's what I did with my first and I didn't have any pain or pressure whatsoever.  U might find my advice very helpful, because to me pressure = pain, and I definitely did not want to feel anything as I pushed my son out.  I will get an epidural again with this pregnancy and I just hope that everuthinu goess smoothly like the first pregnancy.
