I forgot my toothbrush the morning I was induced (5am freak out) worst mistake ever. You want that trust me. For baby, you really don't need anything except maybe a cute outfit for pics and what not. You should bring general hygiene items for you and spouse. A change of clothes for your spouse and a going home outfit for you. I suggest a dress of some sort. Take snacks!! Once you get your epidural you can't eat. Also if you're induced, you can't Eat after you're induced.
I just had my baby last Wednesday and this was my experience.
I have a hospital bag list in my journals.
You might want to bring your own pads. I use the overnight thin pads. The ones hospitals provide are usually bulky and uncomfortable. Just a thought. I am having my fourth girl so it is kinda routine.
Very large pants. Lol you don't just shrink right up and you will be very tender. I had to go home in my husband's basketball shorts lol.
you really don't need any of that if your going to hospital they have everything you need for a baby when is first born I suggest you pick you up change of clothes
