There was a recent study done in Denmark which indicates that some drinking may be ok.  A new story on the subject can be found at the following link: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504763_162-57456907-10391704/moderate-drinking-during-pregnancy-may-not-affect-childs-neurodevelopment/

I am always wary when groups of people use "always" or "never" when talking about certain subjects.  I will never forget when I went on a cruise with my kids and husband and my son practically burst into tears when he saw me light up a cigar on our vacation.  It was just one, mind you, I don't smoke or anything, but we went to a place that wrapped their own and I enjoy the occassional cigar.  But apparently, my son's elementary school convinced him that I was going to get lung cancer and die from one cigar.  Inane.  The good news is that I proved the school wrong and didn't get lung cancer, despite their claims...LOL.  To take it to another venue, many people believe (because they heard) that chicken bones are bad for dogs and you should NEVER give your dogs chicken bones.  Guess what, that is only true for cooked chicken bones.  Raw chicken bones are perfectly fine (and healthy) for dogs. (See "Give Your Dog A Bone by Ian Billinghurst DVM).  It is the act of cooking the bones that actually changes the properties of the bones, causing them to become brittle and potentially dangerous, though I have also head of the occassional hound that has gotten into the garbage and eaten the whole chicken carcass and survived (TADA!).
The moral of my story is, things even "bad" things in moderation are not ALWAYS bad.  Using sound judgement and having a couple drinks a week probably won't do a whole lots.

New study was just published that showed no harm from moderate wine consumption during second trimester but I think that moderation is the key.

That depends on who you ask.  Current recommendations in North America are that there is no time during pregnancy, nor is there any amount of alcohol that is safe during pregnancy.  So, honestly, they just don't know for sure.  Lot's of women have the occasional drink and there is no problem at all.  But it is a personal decision, and you should do your homework before making your choice.  I personally think it's ok, but again, the current medical guidelines are that it is best to not drink any alcohol at all.

One glass of wine very occasionally is not going to be a problem.

Drink plenty of water and other fluids as well.
