hello, i'm 34 and my FSH is in 16. We have been trying to conceive for 3 years. Will I be able to with a so high FSH?
Thanks
Thanks for all of the advice! It helps. I should have mentioned that we have worked with an RE and did the clomid route and then two IUI's, but never got pregnant with any of their help. Each time I've ever gotten there has been completely without any aid. But the issue is no one can clearly say why they don't "stick". Maybe it's the high FSH levels, maybe it's the chromosome abnormality they found. I guess we'll keep hoping while we get more answers.
I'd like to second the post that said to consult an re (reproductive endocrinologist) if you haven't already. In my experience, they have all kinds of ways at their disposal to help us older women get pregnant. I'm so sorry you've suffered three m'c's - good luck back to you and SSBD!
you need to go with your heart... there are many women on here well past 35 who are pg.. with healthy babies.. good luck
I'm no expert, but the rule of thumb is levels below 10 are good. Anything above that makes conception far less likely. Maybe you want to see a reproductive endocrinologist too and get their prof. opinion as to your chances. Good REs are honest w/you. Good Luck to you!
