2nd Miscarriage

Well, here I am again.  My breasts stopped hurting a few days ago,so I kind of suspected/feared, but didn't want to overreact.  We miscarried in June at 8 weeks.  Ziggy measured small (as 5w 3d) when we went for our 7 week sono.  We returned 2 weeks later, today, and no heartbeat.  I'm just numb right now.  We conceived naturally this time.  I don't know whether I have it in me to risk going through this again by going through IVF.  Both my husband and I have issues.  My eggs are 41 years old and my husband has low sperm count and oddly shaped sperm.  I'm just grateful for my husband.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I have been there, most recently in September.  It's too early for you to think about what you will do or how you will feel in the future.  Allow yourself to experience all your emotions and be gentle with yourself.  I have a wonderful, loving husband, but I needed to tell him to give me the space to grieve.

I am very sorry to hear this. I am also 41 and on my second miscarriage. You are strong and you will get through this. Don't think about whether you will try again until you are through this difficult time. Be  kind to yourself and ignore any offensive comments. Some people don't know what to say in this situation.
