Oh my goodness, SuzannesHalfDozen, you are SO right!!! I have 2 boys, ages 18 & 16 (1st marriage), a little girl (almost 3) & a boy on the way in 5 days. While my 18 yr old has developmental disabilities & will never have kids, my 16 yr old swears he'll be waiting a long time to have kids. I, too, love seeing how they interact with each other. I wonder-& giggle-about what people think of our family when we're out in public. My son will often carry my daughter & even tell her to stop misbehaving if she's acting up. People could so easily mistake him for her dad & not her brother. But regardless of what people think of the big gap in our kids' ages, the hubs & I love them all & feel like they're keeping us young!

Okay, well thanks for sharing. I have had 3 miscarriages since the 8 year old and being told I'm threatening a miscarriage now so I haven't shared the news with the children yet but I am excited too! I have never made it this far so I think it'll be fine. :-)

I agree with SuzannesHalfDozen, I'm 39, with three girls 19, 13 & 12 and currently 37wks +3 with my first boy. My 19 yrold could have taken one for the team, but she is too interested into starting her college life Morgan State University. I thank God for this unexpected miracle, thought I was barren at some point. Is there any thing too hard for God? My girls can't wait for their brothers' arrival, he is going to be doted on 24/7.

My older kids are 18, 16, 15 (1st hubby). My younger kids are 5, 4 and due in 15 weeks :) I LOVE the gap. The relationship between the big ones and liitle ones is AMAZING to watch. They are such great role models and loving people! P.S. Having liitle toddler siblings is the best birth control for teenagers :) none of them want kids anytime soon!!
