thank you. there is hope for us all then?? xx
Just keep at it and keep trying. Maybe be a bit more aggresive with your efforts by going to see an infertility doctor. I wouldn't wait the 6 months they say when you're over 35, just because you are close to 40.
I have one ovary and have had one since 1986. I had two kids previously when i was younger, not problems TTC, and did get pregnant 5 times after I hit 40. Just keep at it.
Hello there, and welcome!! You are in the right place!! I just turned 40 in January and am also trying to conceive, although in my case it would be the first for both of us. My situation is slightly diffferent as I do get pregnant on my own, but have a little trouble making past first trimester. There are so many stories on here, some like yours, and so many of these women had gone on to have successful and healthy pregnancies. I can tell you it is very possible, even likely as you are still having regular cycles!! If I were you, I would see an RE, although it sounds like you may be doing that as you have had some testing done. I understand how you feel about time running out, I have exactly the same fear. Welcome to our community, and although I can't personally give you a lot of advice in dealing with one ovary and one tube, I have no doubt there will be others who respond that can and will! Good luck to you, and I look forward to seeing you post your success!!! Amanda
