Any Bitchy Female bosses??

Anyone suffering from bitchy bosses? That constantly complains about other pregnant women using their pregnancy as a crutch? I'd just about had it w/ her smart remarks and comments! I am full term and having extreme lower back pain   due to having ankylosing spodylitis. I told her was going to head over to the hospital, and she asked why. So I told her that my back was hurting...this was her negative response. " that's why I decided to have one child, and I can tolerate a lot of pain. I don't whine about my injuries I just suck it up and drive on" this particular woman always has some smart remark to say. Thanks ladies for reading my rants just venting!!

You should press charges for slander but I also wouldn't pay her no mind. When you ignore them, they feel really stupid lol

I am so sorry you had to put up with an unprofessional supervisor. She is definitely jealous of you. Maybe she's mad at the fact she had to work through her pregnancy? She's obviously bitter and has some personal issues going on to attack your character :( and the audacity to post stuff on social media....it's like she is having a tantrum bc she didn't get leave or something.

Lol thanks for the comments ladies...I thought I was over thinking what she said...she's always "condemning" me for something...I am so ready for her to leave. I could go on and on about the things she says and jokes around with. She is by far the most negative immature supervisor I've met...

Oh boy! Sorry you have to deal w the physical issues as well as unsympathetic comments from nasty superiors. One way to respond would be to answer *sarcasticly*, "Well, I guess I'm not quite as wise as you when it comes to planning my family, but I decided to get pregnant because I want more children!"

She probably thinks she can tolerate a lot if pain and can go on because her pain wasn't that bad. Every person is different, some people's pain is worse than others. I would ask her where her medical degree is so she can have some legitimacy in evaluating pain. Who made her the expert? Pain is a sign, if she chooses to ignore what her body is telling her than she is an idiot in my opinion. I would complain to HR or supervisor, she is creating a hostile work environment and it needs to be documented. Especially for a supervisor, extremely unprofessional. You are entitled to medical leave and FMLA leave. I would advise you use one or both.

I had to deal with my GM, who surprisingly enough had just returned to work from her own mat leave a fee months before I announced my pregnancy. I was diagnosed with HG about four months into my pregnancy. I was expected to be at work at 8am after being up early 5-6am throwing up. I was almost hospitalized twice and lost over 10lbs my first 4 months. I was throwing up constantly all day long and got zero sympathy from her. She posted ridiculous backhanded comments on Facebook about how awful her days were because of me either calling in sick or leaving early to go home. One week I called her out on a particularly nasty FB post and she took it up with the owner of our store and she then required me to bring in a Dr's note if I was to miss anymore work. My doctor was appalled and thankfully enough put me on 15 weeks of sick leave and I am now on early mat leave. Not being at work with her constant b*cthing and complaining gives me so much satisfaction. Its like a big "I told you so" because she never believed I was as sick as I was. She's now jealous of me not working during my pregnancy (I'm on limited mobility and partial bed rest) she's spreading rumors at work that I just up and walked out on them and my job. Its such immature behavior for someone in a management position. I'm so thankful to be home resting, stress free and taking care of myself and baby.

I got upset because a co worker yelled at me so I went to my boss about it. He said "so do you think you would be mad if you were not pregnant and your hormones weren't going crazy?". What kind of question is that?! No one should be yelled at by a co worker!

Yeah she's crazy she has no compassion for others families and loved ones. She even joked about someone loved one passing away by asking if they were Nelson Mandela!

So she can handle a lot of pain and that's why she's not having more kids? Sounds like she just wants to be nasty. Just try to blow it off.
One of my favorite lines from one of my favorite singers is, "You can't talk to a psycho like a normal human being". Lol. It's so true and just good to remember.
