Anyone Else Miserable? Gripe Thread!

Far be it for me to complain too terribly loud, since I got myself into this mess and did it with gusto, but does anyone else feel like total hell right now?  I have to gripe just a little bit to people who understand (ie: not DH).

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and have felt horrid for about 4 weeks.  Today I actually threw up in my car on the way to the bank. *sob*  I realize this is just part of the package, but I'm whiny because I didn't have any symptoms at all with my last.  This one is full of m/s, implantation bleeding, terrible fatigue, two cases of the flu, and general crappiness.  Meh.

I'm sooooooo tired of laying in bed and blankly staring at a TV or reading a book, all the while feeling completely gross.  I'm even more tired of sitting up watching TV with my family feeling even more completely gross.  I'm tired of starving but throwing up every time I stick food in my mouth.  I'm tired of having to go to work every day, feeling gross, and count the hours down until I can go home, lay in bed, and ... see the above.

The doctor gave me Zofran, for the nausea, and though it makes me less nauseated, it makes me 20X more fatigued but the sort of fatigue where you can't lift your head, but you also can't fall asleep.  ACK!

All I know is this one better be a girl for all the trouble. :P

Anyone else feel like letting loose and griping your heart away, go right ahead and do it on this thread!  We're entitled!!!

Sheri

Yep! what the heck! take you naps whenever and wherever you can! I was like you in my first trimester... it was HORRID! lol.... i mean, i've had a fairly easy pregnancy... I am in cloud #9... best thing EVER happened to me... but, really it was not easy....
My second trimester was a blast! i had such a good time... starting to show... going shopping.... but.. almost hitting my 7th month... OH GOLLY! back again to being tired... then i got a miserable cold... stuffy nose, achy.... ah!!!
Now i get some nausea when i go to bed... not as it used to be... but tired.... GEE! do i ever...
my dh is not big in the cleaning department either... and he says i just bark orders! lol.... hey! somebody needs to help around the house! me and my HUGE belly can't do everything!!
It's all worth it in the end....=) go take your naps... eat mild... buy yourself something cute to reward yourself from all this hard work... hey! you're making a human being! THAT is hard work!!!! =)

I hear you about being tired!

Yesterday, I mentioned I threw up in my car.  I came back into work and actually snuck into my boss' office (she's out of town) and fell asleep curled up on the FLOOR!  I finally woke up and managed to get through the rest of the day, but when I got home at 5:15, I crawled in bed and slept until 8:30 pm, got up, ate dinner that my poor husband had made for me, watched a little TV and then was back in bed by 9:45 pm.  My house is a wreck, but I can't mange to muster up the energy to do a good cleaning.  DH isn't real useful in that department.  You tell him to clean and he just stirs the mess around.

I actually brought a pillow and blanket with me to work today!  I figured the temperature is mild enough that I can take a nap in my car on lunchbreak if I need to!

I just wish I could sleep streight thur one night! The past couple of months I get up and just wonder, and then My whole day goes to **** because I end up needing a nap during the day and that always makes me fill worse.
I have been so lazy and thats not me at all! I have always been one to jump up and get things done. friends would laugh and say I must have an low thiroid issue because Im so hyper. and omg.. Just the thought of running the vacuum would make me want to lay down and take a nap! I have tried everything. forcing myself not to nap so I can be really tired... doent help.  Hot baths... doesnt help... walks... doesnt help. Is this ever going to change!!!!

great post...I think I fill better now.. smile
Its 2:15 am.. guess Ill be taking a nap today.

So far, no major gripes but I thought the nausea would've stopped!!  I'm almost 34 weeks and am still on Zofran.

I walk in your shoes also. I lost good amount of weight over the summer and now gained it all back and more! I just feel that I am getting fatter and fatter and going shopping with my daughter doesnt help either. I am over the morning sickeness and I just loved my Reglan it did the trick but gave me insomia real bad. I can't get comfy at night ....restless all the time and feel like I am dragging a ton of wieght around....but in the end its all worth it so thats what keeps me going. :)

Hi Sheri,
I was actually about to type up an oposite post.  I'm 8w1d, and I'm feeling OK so far.  Tomorrow is my 2nd u/s and once again I'm nervous hoping that everything still is ok.

My syptoms:
Mild nausea, and not even every day.
Food aversion to something that I really enjoyed the day before, but can't stand thinking about it today.
A bit more tired.
Constipated
Occasional Pinching and camping in the tummy area, and still have that tighness pain where if I sneeze it feels like something will rip.
Rapid heart beat once or twice a day that lasts for few min.
Oh, and my right sciatic nerve and hip hurt.

So in general there are few things here and there, but nothing drastic.  I hope everything goes well tomorrow.

Hang in there for few more weeks, at the latest it should ease up after week 14, that's what I read.
