Bright red watery bleeding???

Ok, ladies, I'm pretty scared right now. I've had off and on brown spotting since my 8th week (I am 12 weeks 1 day), but there hasn't been anything for a few days. I had very mild cramping last week - had an ultrasound on Friday and everything was great. Baby measured 4.98cm and had 165bpm heartrate.  About 35 minutes ago I used the restroom and had bright red watery bleeding.  I told myself not to panic over this one episode.  I've gone twice more since then to check and have had more, but not near as much as that first "gush".  There hasn't been anything on my underwear... PLEASE tell me that some of you have had this and continued on with healthy pregnancies.  PLEASE?!

Hi there! Hope you are o.k. today. I had bright read bleeding at 10 weeks with my pregnancy and the dr's were sure it was a m/c but had a scan and everything good.  I ended up giving birth to a healthy baby girl and the dr's think it may have just been a clot that burst!! Good luck!!

The subchorionic hemorrhage can be so small at first they don't even mention it.  It can get bigger, mine did.  But it can also get better.  Take it easy and follow up with the dr. to make sure everything is alright.  Good Luck!

They checked for that at my ultrasound last Friday and didn't find anything...do you know if it could have developed since then?

u might have what is called subchroniac bleeding.
u should either see ur OB and get the US done or go to the ER for US..If it is SCH,they need to determine the location and the size of teh bleeding....good luck

Thanks so much for sharing.  Clots would send me over the edge so I cross my fingers I can avoid those.  Is this your first pregnancy?

I had bright red spotting off and on from weeks 5 - 10. One day I even had small clots as well. Dr.s weren't able to determine a cause. My bub is fine, 25 weeks now. HTH!

I'm pretty sure adgal had several episodes of bleeding during her last pregnancy and it was successful.
Hope everything continues uneventfully,
Joanne
