Does anyone feel the same?

Hello Everyone, i'm 36 years old and we are ivf for the 6th time. I had 9 eggs 4 of which are fertilized. They transfered 2 and 2 are frozen. Today is the 9th day after transfer and starting from the second day of the trasfer i feel like my period will start in the next 10 seconds. I have the cramps and my breasts hurt. But above all i feel like i'm about to explode. It is like i opened the water, stepped on the hose, and it is getting bigger and bigger. This is generally how i feel before my periods and how i felt in the previous trials. My period is due to 10th of August and these symptoms started on 29th of July. I'm trying to positive, but it is so hard. Does anyone feel the same?

Thank you for your kind wishes. I hope God will give babies to all of us who want to be a mother one day. I'm so frustrated, sorry, tired, but most of all angry.
This is our third doctor, don't know how many doctors we have seen until now. In our case, IVF is our only option. They have little differences, but the medicine and the procedures are similar. The worst part is they don't know why. They have no explanation.
Anyway, life goes on, this will pass. And everything happens for a reason, at least i still try to believe this. All the best wishes for you.

I am so sorry for the struggles you are having. I can certainly empathize. I am 39 and have been TTC for over 2 years now. I've had 3 m/cs over the course of 2009-2010, and have not had a positive pregnancy test since my last m/c in September 2010. Although I have not gone through an IVF cycle, I did go through a number of cycles of fertility drugs (clomid, femara, follistim, ovidrel) and IUI - all failures. So, I understand the monthly devastation and disappointment.

After the last failed IUI in February of this year, I was heartbroken and exhausted, and decided I'd had it with drugs, tests, RE appts and "bad news" phone calls, and feeling awful physically and emotionally all the time. I am now committed to getting my BFP naturally or not at all. For the past 5 months I have embarked on a regimen of acupunture, Chinese herbs, vitamins, diet changes, using only natural paraben-free products, daily exercise, yoga, meditation and visualization. I've gotten every book I can on TTC naturally in your late 30s-40s. Although I haven't gotten my BFP (yet!), I have never felt so healthy, energized and positive.

Whatever path you decide to choose, I wish you all the luck in the world in achieving motherhood.

I'm really sorry to hear you've been through so many failed cycles. Have these all been with the same doctor? If so, I suggest trying someone new -they all have slightly different protocols/philosophies so someone else might be more successful for you. Also be sure to look into their success rates for various age groups - you might be surprised at what you find. Best of luck to you.

hi glondel, im 37 and had icsi i had my ET on 11th july and got a BFP on the 22nd july i go for my first scan on monday 8th aug, and i had and still got cramps and my breast r huge lol and sore, i was sure i was gonna get my period so when i rang for my results i nearly fell over when she said i was pregnant, so hang in there i wish you all the luck plz keep me informed how u go, take care. xx
