Does swallowing semen normally cause contractions

I'm 33wks and I ingested my husband's semen about an hour and a half ago. I've been having contractions every six minutes for like a half hour. I was aware that sex could cause labor but semen?

Outside of the extra protein semen does nothing for your orally, now vaginally is another story. Sounds like you have Braxton Hicks. Drink some water or warm decaf tea, and sit in a comfy chair.

Only helps vaginally

Semen softens the cervix, what causes the contractions is orgasms. It's probably just a coincidence, drink lots of water and rest.

No, swallowing semen does not cause contractions.

Semen only helps soften ur cervix. It doesn't do anything if you swallow it ,

Well I'm still having contractions but they are slowing down. I have done some research and it's sex and semen that normally cause labor. I just don't want to go into labor too too early.

I dont think giving your husband a ** made you go into labor....

I believe it's the semen that causes them but I don't think swallowing it will. I think it has to be in direct contact of the cervix.  I could be wrong tho
