Good news all!! We dont have to have a echogenic foucs!! Looks like the baby will be fine!

Hi ladies,

I just wanted to give you all the update...I responded on my post from a few days ago..when I was asking any of you if you had had a bad u/s report come back..that said there were calcium mineralization around the babys heart..which can be a marker for downs..
Well after a few days of waiting to hear back form the specialist to book a appt..(they were waiting on some bloodwork of mine) The 2nd screening of bw for downs..and both the 1st round of bw and 2nd for downs came back negative..so basically all that worry ...and now they say they dont want to see me for another u/s (echo focus) either way I am so relieved..thrilled...happy...But I was so upset when I had heard the news from my Dr. a couple days ago..I was beside myself..
Anyways long story short...the baby is fine..and thankfully so!!

THANKS SO MUCH LADIES FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT!!! It means alot to me to come on here to this website and be able to talk candidly about my pregnancy and its goings on...
Have a wonderful day!

Congrats Suzan!!! I'm sorry that your doc needlessly startled and upset you. I guess they have to cover their butts. But it's wonderful that you were able to find out relatively soon thereafter about everything being normal!! YAY!
