I'm 38 had three faild IVFs and I also have an antigen called HLA-B27 positive.  Could this be one of the reasons I'm not able to concieve a child?  After finding this website http://www.repro-med.net/info/cat1-5.php I am ready to find out more information and have immunology blood tests done before I embark on any further fertility treatment. If you find the information useful, please pass it on.

Hello Andi,
I went to a fertility clinic for testging after three failed pregnancies and I was diagnosed with having antinuclear antibodies.  I was tested negative for lupus.

This is why my Dr. has prescribed baby aspirin and fragmin injections for me.  (I'm not yet pregnant but TTCing).

It's a controversial area and Dr Alan Beer - a pioneer in this field - is considered controversial. Many doctors do not buy into immunological reasons for pregnancy loss.  Thankfully my clinic tested for it.

How did you find otu you have this positive antigen? What were you told by your Dr.?  I would think there is a correlation.
