I had tubal ligation last July, and just had it reversed. We opted for the reversal for a couple of reasons. In our area, one round of IVF is about 10k...and for that money, you get ONE shot. The reversal is about 6k (in the US - we went to Mexico), and you can try as many times as you like. Also, our odds with reversal were better than most because 1) no underlying fertility issues 2) I got pregnant easily one year ago 3) although I am over 40, my husband is 35 and 3) we have had a child together, so we know we CAN get pregnant together.
I don't agree with Annie that IVF is better than tubal reversal...there are too many variables to make a blanket statement like that. Your age and if you've ever had fertility issues seem to be the most important factors.

tHANKS TO ALL THAT HAVE REPLIED TO MY QUESTION.YOU HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL!
Talk to your doctor. You have 2 options but they are costly, and although IVF works (generally speaking) better than tubal reversal surgery, neither option is guaranteed to work.
if you wanted to do IVF then you could. i know a lady who had her tubes removed and went for ivf so its possible.
