Low HCG in first Trimester

Hello to all.  I am 38 years old.  I am pregnant!  I did exactly this after a failed IVF and many failed IUIs, I took the aspirin and fertility blend and geritol and I prayed every day.  I fell preggers in March.  I missed my April period.  I checked and the test was positive.  Ther fertility clinic can't believe it.  They said I couldnt do it on my own.  I got my HCG and pregogesterone chkd and it was great the first two times.  They told me to come back on May 5th for u/s.  But I insisted on being seen every week until u/s.  So last week my hcg did not double.  It went up but did not double.  Actually counting today, this has now happened twice.  Does this mean something bad.  the numbers were: 4/16-274
4/18 560
4/23-1559
4/25 - 1951 today  Are these numbers really bad?

HCG usually doubles every 48-72 hours. That usually corresponds to HCG levels below 1200 IU. From 1200-6000, the HCG usually takes 72-96 hours to double. Above 6000 IU, the hCG often takes over four days to double. So, the rate of increase in HCG levels normally varies as a pregnancy progresses. Normal HCG values vary up to 20 times between different pregnancies, however, and an HCG that does not double every two to three days does not necessarily indicate a problem with the pregnancy. Some normal pregnancies will have quite low levels of HCG, and result in perfect babies.

They should double every two to 3 days..
so to bee 100% on 4/20 it would be 1100
4/22 2200
4/24 4400

numbers do tend to slow down the further along you get. google hcg calculator and it will tell you exactly how many hours it is taking for your hcg to double...  after 1000 you should be able to see something on the u/s... are you taking progesterone?

good luck
