Low HCG numbers after FET
Well, my second beta only rose 28%. I'm soooo sad; I'd really been thinking these embryos (or at least one) would make it. I could see it so clearly! My nurse said that there's a chance that originally both embryos implanted and now one is gone but one is still there.
Please, someone tell me that you had a low HCG rise 48 hours after the first test and everything turned out fine?

Thank you! And guess what? I couldn't believe it, but my beta over tripled! So great news. Now I wait for my ultrasound on November 4th.
RE: your donor, I read all the responses to your post about only 4 eggs from your donor. SEems like there are a lot of positive outcomes with those same #s! I think quality matters a lot more than quantity and I'm sure your donor has high quality eggs.

That's such a shame your donor only produced 4 good eggs! Where did you find this donor? Was she one of your clinic's donors? I would not be happy either but at this point you just have to try to remain positive...it only takes one after all:)
I would hope that one missed supp wouldn't make a difference or my nurse should've emphasized how important it is to spread them out evenly and she didn't say a word (that's been my experience with this RE though so who knows). Good for you for being so regimented with them. I take my last one at 10pm and the first one not until 8:30am or so. Ugh, I hope that's not been my problem..
Anyway, best of luck to you this cycle. If you don't hear from me anymore, it's because I couldn't bring myself to update the bad news tomorrow. If for some reason I'm wrong I'll be back here to post my good news.

I dont know whether that could have made a difference or not... I wouldnt think that one mistake would cause your pregnancy to fail...
I dont know though..sorry. Thats why i HATE these progesterone supps... i also have a hard time remembering them.. I take mine at 8am, 4pm, and 12pm... every 8 hours...

I go in for my day 3 transfer this Sunday,...
I'm not a happy camper right now... They only got 4 mature eggs out of my donor! And i dont even know if they all will make it to day 3... Ugh..

Hi! I asked about the meds because i was worrying if you were on enough progesterone...
But you are on the exact same amounts as me.. progesterone 3 x a day.. and 4 patches every other day... ((i still worry that the 3 progesterone supps a day isnt enough.... but my RE says that it is... *sigh*..)
I think that the HCG of 169 was a good for a first beta... (they say anything over 50 is a good start.....)
What exactly was the number of the second beta?
My RE told me that some women are 2 day hcg/beta doublers.... and some women double hcg every 3 days...
So.. maybe you are a 3 day doubler...
When are you testing again?
The VERY good thing IS.. that your numbers DID go up... so.... As i said.. dont give up hope yet!..

Thanks for responding and for trying to be so hopeful.. My first HCG was 169. I'm on progesterone suppositories 3x/day and tons of estrogen: 4 patches every other day plus 1 estradiol tablet per day. Why do you ask? Is this related to my results?
Where are you in your cycle again? If this doesn't work for us, we will be moving on to donor eggs and I'm sure I'll have some questions for you about that...
