No yolk sac etc at 6 w 3d

hi guys, started bleeding a little at 5w6d. scan next day showed gestational sac but nothing else. hcg levels were good (13451). light bleeding only since then but today at 6w4d gestational sac bigger than 4 days ago but still no sign of anything inside. my head is wrecked.

anyone else been in this boat?

i had that scan today, and saw the tiny heartbeat! great excitement and relief. so many people said to me not to pay any attention to scans done before 7 weeks as its simply too early to see anything other than a gestational sac. hope others will benefit form such advise, as i was simply too nervous to do "good listening"!

ta. yes getting another scan on 22 April. Hcg results are good, but who knows

I have been in the same boat.  For me, the outcome was not good.  It can still be too early for you to see too much via u/s.  How was the u/s done?  On your tummy or trans vaginal?  I had this happen twice & both of mine turned out to be blighted ovums.  I say give it a week or so & go back for another u/s.
