I had a son at 43 and pregnant again at 45--natural pregnancies. I think each person's genetic make-up has every possibility to run contrary to  statistical averages

I got pregnant easily at 37, too (expecting my first baby in about a month!), but the likelihood of problems does go up as we get older. If you and your partner are ready, I'd start trying sooner than later. If you're not ready, though, you don't need to freak out if you pass the 35-year-old milestone. We weren't ready until I was 37, and it seems to be working out just fine. A number of good friends of mine have similar stories.

Good luck!

I don't know what stats are...but I do know that PLENTY of women get pregnant after 35, and even after 40. I got pregnant the first month of trying at 40 years old. If you are otherwise healthy, there's no reason why you can't get pg.

Fertility does begin to decline at age 35.  However, it's not like you hit 35 and suddenly can't get pregnant.  It's a slow and gradual decline as we age. I am not certain of the percentages, but there are many many women having babies over 35 (otherwise we would have no need for this forum..lol).  I am 41 and am fertile as a bunny rabbit.  I just had a healthy baby boy in January, and yes, he was naturally conceived.  If you are in fact trying to get pregnant, I wish you luck!!!

I don't know the percentages. I'm 35 and got pregnant right away.
