Pregnant: Due September 2012

Hi, I'll be 38yrs young this March and got my bfp three days ago. I'm a proud mom to 3 boys: 19 yrs, 18yrs, and 11yrs old from a previous marriage.
I remarried 1yr4m ago and we've been trying since last summer. We've had 2 miscarriages, the last one mid Oct. 2011.
I'm not sure if it's too early but I'd like to know if there are other ladies who recently got their bfp and due Sept 2012.
What symptoms do you have?, have you seen your doctor yet?, what questions or concerns do you have? Maybe we can help each other through this uncertain time by sharing our unique experiences.
Eileen

It's been very helpful and supportive to me to hear from all of you. I hope all is going well for all.
I have had a couple of bumps on the road. O had a complicated cyst on my right breast. My doctor warned me that if it was cancer I would have to terminate my pregnancy. All turned out ok, but now my last ultrasound showed a small hemorrhage near the placenta.
Goodness gracious, so difficult to enjoy this pregnancy through all these complications. Right now I'm just trying to keeping thinking positively and looking forward to my nuchal scan this Thursday.
How have you been holding up?

Hello ladies I just recently found out I am 5 weeks pregnant, I will also be 38 this summer. I have two children 14, and a one year old.  We tried again soon after that and unfortunately I had a fetal demise at 20 weeks, it was heart wrenching, so here we r again and I am scared to death.. due date is Sept. 30 hopefully this little one is a warrior I could only have faith and pray that this pregnancy is successful for this is my last try.. look forward to chatting with you ladies about how successful our pregnancies are ;)

Well the Breasts are now sore, mainly the nipples.  They have gone from a 42' to 43.5", i'm obsessed with measuring because i recently lost some weight and now having an issue with eating more that i had been. I'm not really exercising either because it is too cold to go for walks this past couple weeks but next week should be better.   I was eating around 1700 cals and now upped it to 2000 but i should be around 2200-2400 for maintenance.  I eat fairly clean and at least 6 times a day so not sure how i'm going to eat anymore.  Thought i would up my calcium intake through with milk, that should help.  I haven't lost any weight, which is the goal but not gaining yet either which for the first 3 months isn't a bad thing either.  What are you ladies doing?

I think a decade between babies *might* have been long enough for me to forget the feeling of sleep deprivation, not caring about personal hygiene, and not being able to leave the house without a metric BEEEP ton of stuff.

*MIGHT* be.

Isn't that just it? "Well welcome to the world of starting over again ladies!"  Just when our youngest ones are at an age of being self sufficient, we have a crazy notion (or complete surprise) of starting from scratch!  It still seems so surreal to me as well, since the only symptoms I'm experiencing is the relentless wake up through the night to pee (but drinking more water will usually do that), I'm so gassy to the point that i feel bad for my husband (payback is wonderful but this is ridiculous),  and I'm ready for bed by 8pm every night and no later (hubby not feeling much love lately).  BUT i wouldn't have it any other way!  I've always loved being pregnant and just hoping this little one is a fighter!

Hi, I also will be 38 this May, and am due September 13th. I have only one child, a son from previous marriage, that will be 18 the first of February. I tried for years after he was born, with no luck, to get pregnant and after 18years thought it wasn't possible. So, the news that I am pregnant is bringing a mix of emotions. I am with someone I am very much in love with but not married to. He is excited, as am I, but also has a mix of emotions. He is already a grandpa of 4, a father of 4,(one of which is only 5 years younger then I am) and he will be 50 when ours is born. We both believe that everything happens for a reason, and that this is a gift from God, a sign that we were meant to be together. So here we go, starting all over...

Thanks for the information. I had no idea that so much had changed since I've had my first don 19yrs ago. I'm glad there is so many options available. At this point all is in His hands cause I'm doing all I can for my little bean...i hope he/she decides to stay.
Today the morning sickness really kicked my @$$ and my tatas feel like they were used as punching bags overnight. I can't wait til next weeks us:)

I'm not sure what the progest levels are suppose to be at because mine weren't tested but at approx 20 dpo my hcg levels were 104 and at 26 dpo they were at 1124.  Doctor wasn't concerned as they were increasing.  I found on website that at what ever level they are tested at, they should double every 2-3 days after that.  So Eileen, as far as i know your hcg looks great!  Hope this helps

I am 38 and waiting for blood test results today. I would be 3 weeks today. My DH and kids are very excited. Have 15 yr. DD and 9 yr. DS. Plus 14 yr. DStwins. I am 95% sure. Just waiting for confirmation. Have all kinds of yucky symptoms. Which is weird cause for other two I didn't. I would be due Oct 2. Hope to go through this adventure with you all.

I'm 18 dpo and had a positive hpt yesterday.  I had a beta test today and it was 847, but she said my progesterone was low (she didn't give me the number and I didn't think to ask).  She started me on prometrium 100 mg twice a day.  I'm 35 with an 8 year old.  We've been trying to conceive for 18 months and have been through 6 failed IUIs.  My doctor said she is cautiously optimistic.  Your latest post gave me hope!!

A nurse from my doctor's office just called me to schedule an u/s because my beta's are very high. At 20 dpo: 2,768 and progest. 12.4, and at 22 dpo beta was 5,393 and progest. was 15.8. I really don't understand all this beta numbers and what they mean. Are those bad numbers I'm getting?

I think a good ob doctor is one that if I was very concerned about something he/she would try to find out what is going on. If you are having symptoms that worry you a lot, you should go to the er or call another office. Especially if you have had other mc, or bleeding.

my NEW on won't see me before feb 10. I'm concerned that that's too much time. :(

going to call another one and explain that I'm AMA and that I want early testing done. are any of you doing a CVS or anything? these tests weren't options when I had my other two kids. (1998 & 2002).

Hi ladies!  I'm just found out today that I'm preggo!  Due around Sept 22. Only real symptom is sore breasts.  Really sore. Am feeling a little pain on the left side.  We told his side tonight and are telling my side tomorrow.  Too much to do in one day!   I'm 32 this year with endometriosis. Didn't think I would get pregnant this soon since we just got engaged over Christmas.   We had been casually trying for about 6 months. I guess with all the wedding planning my mind was elsewhere. I'm nervous about an ectopic pregnancy so calling Dr. Tomorrow to schedule first ultrasound.

Hi ladies, I'm glad to see we're all still hanging in there. God, how I wish this time would just pass quickly...this waiting to know that everything is ok is killing me.
I should get my results of my second beta-hcg and progest. tomorrow. At 20 dpo my first level was 2,768 and progest. 12.4. Lets see if my levels have gotten better with the Progesterone.   What worries me the most is that my symptoms are not all that significant. Besides my achy boobs, occasional queeziness, and pesky cramps...i really don't feel pregnant.

Just found out tonight that I'm preg again.  I should be due in late Sept.  I have 3 children, 17, 15, & 9.  I have had multiple losses & don't plan on telling any family members for as long as possible.

Hi Ladies, I'm also 40, due Sept 10th. Had a mmc last July, but am very optimistic for this pregnancy, though a little anxious too. Doc monitored my hormone levels the last couple of weeks, and everything looks great so far. Going in for an ultrasound on Tuesday! Have already told our family...if anything happens this time, I'll need their support! Here's to healthy happy pregnancies all around!

I'm feeling the same way - lol but consider it a GOOD thing. symptoms mean there's hcg in your system!!! the sucker you get the more hormone and that's a positive sign.

hang in there mamma - ill be munching crackers with you!  friended you!!!
