I chose New Chapter 'perfect prenatal multivitamin' which is made with organic vegetables and herbs, and can be taken on an empty stomach. The label does have a note: nutrients and herbs are cultured in organic media that may contain organic milled soy. I don't know if that's something you can tolerate. In addition to this vitamin you would have to take a daily dose of fish oil as this supplement does not contain this important ingredient. Good luck!
I ended up choosing Vitamin Code raw vitamins. Thanksforall the great feedback.
Genestra pregna vites are best more money but easy to handle on stomache and no colouring etc you can get it at health food store and some pharmacies that carry health food supplies
Go to a health-food store and ask their advice.
I second Jamieson. Soy is not listed as an ingredient and it has no artifical colorings, flavorings or preservatives (per the bottle). The other thing I really love about Jamieson is the fact that it's not "binding"...nothing worse that having a prenatal that causes constipation. This, I notice, does not. I tried the Rainbow brand one, which I don't think has coloring either, but that one did seem to cause constipation, so I switched back. I order them online and actually have them shipped from Canada. Definately recommend!
I take Jamieson brand, not sure if there is soy in it but it definitely does not have artificial coloring. Or if you love by a costco wholesale, they have some by Kirkland brand that also does not have artificial coloring, but again not sure on the soy part.
