Sciatic pain in pregnancy

I am 25 weeks pregnant with #3 and have a new pain - my sciatic on the left side is killin me.  Right in the top of my butt.  So far it doesn't radiate down past my butt.  I am hoping for some relief.  I've been to a chiropractor and that's helped with my hip pain but this sciatic is persistent.  Can anyone offer some help or ideas on what you've done that has helped?

Thanks.  I had a check up today and the dr said try icing it.  That basically there's nothing the can be done. There's swelling b/c of the pregnancy and extra fluid that's pinched a nerve...  So no hope for us until after the little ones arrive!

I have the same problem but it goes down my legs. I've used a heating pad. I've been told that massage would be beneficial but I would only see someone who is familiar with pregnancy massage or it could be harmful.
Maybe even physical therapy or walking would help.
