Shoulder Pain early pregnancy - eptopic?

Hi all,
I've just turned 35 and found out that I am pregnant!
Very excited.
I waitressed last night for the first time since finding out I was pregnant and once I got home I couldn't sleep due to a pain in my shoulder - at the back near my rib cage. It hurts when I breathe.
Does anyone know if this sounds like a pulled muscle?
I'm 5 weeks and 5 days and worried about eptopic - I have no reason to worry about it I just am.
Can your only symptom of Eptopic be shoulder pain?
It really only hurts when I breathe out - kinda freaking me out!
Thanks for any advice, I should say I have not got any other symptoms, no cramps, no bleeding just a horrible back pain.

I agree with the others.  However, when in doubt talk to your Dr.  If for no other reason then peace of mind.

It sounds very much to me like a pulled muscle.

Ectopic pregnancy doesn't present with shoulder pain of the type that you described.

Relax.  All should be fine.

Ectopic pregnancies are usually discovered (unless by beta hCG testing and ultrasound) by acute pain in the lower abdomen, nothing to do with the shoulder.
