Surrogate Mommy and TTC soon after Breast feeding

Our surrogate mom (35 years old) had her own baby on January 12 and stopped breastfeeding a  week ago. We are TTC as soon as possible. I have heard of taking BC pill for 10 days then Clomid for 5 days and an HCG Trigger shot to get ovulation going. She has no problems getting pregnant (has 4 kids) But she is not regular on her period yet. Have you heard of this way to get PG? Any suggestions? We are doing home insem and do not want to go to a fertility clinic. Her OBGYN will not do any fertility drugs. Please help. Thanks

Nope i delivered twins Sept 14 as a gestational surrogate!
Its 5 months later almost 6 and im pg again!
Now take in mibd is she is a traditional surrogate she can change her mind and keep the baby!
Most states dont allow you to pay her deemed as baby selling!

Thanks so much for your response. We are truly lucky to have found her. We have been trying this for a long time and sometimes it gets hard to be patient. I have heard that it can take up to 18 months to naturally get regular again. It varies by person, but here's hoping to have it happen a little faster. LOL. Thanks again. :O)

If she has stopped breastfeeding then her period will come back fairly soon.  Within a month or two anyway i would think.  Yes, there are medicated methods to get her cycle started, but she would have to discuss this with her Dr.  I am not certain how it would work after something like breastfeeding.  I do know these methods are used after miscarriage or with a hormonal imbalance.  In any event her Dr. is going to have to be the one to prescribe and the best person to advise her.  Good luck and what a wonderful gift she is giving you.  I wish you all much success.
