Tomorrow is the day! :)

I am scheduled to be induced tomorrow morning!

I am going in a bit early so we can do some cervical prep before they start the Pitocin. I've never had Pitocin before. I was induced with my son but did not need more than gel on my cervix. My labor started and he was born after only 41 minutes LOL I am hoping what they give me this time (pretty sure she is going to give me Cytotec/misoprostol rather than gel) will work as well (only faster, since it will only be 2-3 hours between the cervical prep and the Pitocin. With my son it was about 5-6 hours between the first application of gel and my labor starting on its own) and I won't need Pitocin.

I will have the computer with me so will update and post a picture of Robin (if I can figure out how) once she arrives!

Thinking of you and Robin and hoping all will go super smooth.  Will they use pitocin automatically, or only if the labor doesn't progress?

They say the contractions from pitocin can be more painful than those of uninduced labor.  I was given pitocin after about 18 hours of non-progressing labor... baby came at 24 hours.

Yay!!!  Oh Christine, I am so so so excited you are finally going to meet little Robin.  Time has gone by so fast though...wow.  I wish you a healthy and easy breezy delivery, and cannot wait to read her birth story and see her pics.  Please let me know if you need help loading those pictures.  I can walk you through it.  Lots of hugs, kisses and love, Amanda (and Ryder too!)

BTW - I know your life is going to be much busier after her birth, but don't you dare leave us!  Your input here has been invaluable, so hope you decide to stick around.
