Tonic water with quinine ok during pregnancy?

Hello everyone. I'm 35 years old and 33 weeks + 2 days pregnant with my first! I've been getting restless legs bad and was told that tonic water with quinine would help. Does anybody know if this is safe for baby?

Definitely magnesium for restless leg and/or muscle cramps. Works wonders. Also promotes better sleep.

I heard/read no. But what helps is taking magnesium. I put the powder in my water, and it helps big time!

I've always heard mixed reviews on the use during pregnancy. When i have leg problems, i have a banana or orange for bedtime snack plus make sure im drinking an extra glass of water in the evening.
